Who am I? I’m a little bit of everything. I’m a lover of words, books, writing and God. I’m a mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, singer, writer and occasional paddle boarder. I’m better at some of those things than others. But one thing I’m always good at is writing. It’s my escape, my therapy, my true calling. I’ve known for decades that I was a writer.
I began writing for fun in the early 1990’s and before long, my op-ed pieces were picked up by local papers in the northeast. Soon, I was working on assignment for several newspapers in New England.
In 2001, I moved from Connecticut to Florida to escape the cold and my writing continued sporadically as I raised my children. Shortly after, I took a job in the financial services industry and quickly discovered that although I was a great salesperson, I hated every minute of it.
In 2006, a serious illness caused me to take an extended leave of absence from my job. I was stuck at home with my laptop and decided to give full-time writing a try. I realized then that I would rather spend my life doing something I loved than something I hated.
Over the past 10 years, my freelance career has grown and given me the opportunity to work with people from all industries across a wide range of disciplines from mental health to professional fishing and everything in between.
My first ghostwriting project was a referral from a friend nearly six years ago and resulted in a 250 page memoir covering the 100 year history of a charter boat captain’s family on the Maryland shore. I took the project from concept to completion and have since focused my attention almost exclusively on ghostwriting and publishing. If you have an idea you want to see in print, contact me today!
What books have you ghosted?
In recent years, I have ghostwritten many non-fiction books around the topics of faith, addiction, recovery, mental health, and fitness. I’ve also ghosted several business ebooks on fashion, automotive, marketing, financial planning and other topics. My fiction works have included Christian romance and romance novels and novellas along with several crime, mystery and chick lit books.
Have you written any of your own books?
I’ve written and published two of my own books, Confessions of a Clumsy Christian: Unqualified and God Talks – Daily Conversations for Real Life Situations. My third book, Scrambled, is scheduled for publication this year.
